How do I play Word Duel?
Each round you are given a source word (for example, SUPERPOWER). Take turns with another player on the same device to type real English words built only from the letters of the source word. The player who runs out of valid moves first is eliminated. Last player standing wins.
The game says my word is invalid, but I'm sure it's real.
Word Duel validates words against the free Dictionary API plus a bundled 5,000-word offline dictionary. Some valid words may be missing from both sources. If you find a missing word, please email us with the word so we can add it.
I don't see ads. Am I missing rewards?
Rewarded ads are completely optional. They only appear when you tap the "Hint" button. If no ad is available (e.g. offline, or in a region without ad inventory), the hint is granted anyway so gameplay is never blocked.
How do I disable ad personalization on iOS?
On first launch the app asks for App Tracking Transparency permission. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", we still serve ads, but they will be non-personalized. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Does the game work offline?
Yes. The bundled offline dictionary covers most common words. If you go offline mid-game, validation falls back to the offline dictionary and the game continues normally.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?

Is my data collected?
The app stores game preferences locally on your device. We do not run our own analytics. Google AdMob (used to serve optional rewarded ads) collects standard ad-related device information; details are in our Privacy Policy.
Which devices are supported?
Word Duel supports iPhone and iPad running iOS 15.0 or later, and Android 7.0 or later. The app is universal — the same purchase works on iPhone and iPad.
Reset or Restore
Word Duel has no accounts and stores no data on remote servers, so there is nothing to restore. To reset preferences (timer position, theme, tutorial state), uninstall and reinstall the app.
